Ant began tattooing professionally in 2005 starting at the legendary studio, Lab Monkey Tattoo in the heart of Scotland in Stirling. Here he started to develop his style, delving into time crafted forms of tattooing both western traditional and Japanese inspired tattoos. London would be the next destination searching for inspiration and room to grow as both an artist and tattooer. From here his love for traditional Japanese tattooing grew, spending time at both Ian Flower’s New Skool tattoo in Surrey and at Aaron Hewitt’s Cult Classic tattoo in Romford. These studios cemented Ant’s aesthetic, combining the irezumi/wabori influence with his lifelong love of skateboarding and punk together to create his unique style of bold, energetic tattoos that are built to last.
